Philosophy

We don't look for problems so we can build things.
Problems give us a reason to build.

Every FIXIFACT product begins with a question:

Why does this problem still exist?

Sometimes the answer is to change something that already exists. Sometimes a better tool needs to be built. And sometimes the thing we need doesn't exist yet.

Process

Six steps, every time.

  1. 01NOTICE

    Find the real problem.

Look for friction, unnecessary limitations, wasted time, recurring irritation, or an experience that is worse than it needs to be.

  2. 02QUESTION

    Why does this problem exist?

Do we actually have to accept it?

  3. 03UNDERSTAND

Don't stop at the visible symptom.

Break the problem down until the real cause becomes clear.

  4. 04BUILD

Build what the problem actually needs.

Not what simply looks interesting to build.

  5. 05TEST

The solution has to work in the real world.

If it doesn't actually remove the problem, it isn't finished.

  6. 06FIX

    Simplify it. Improve it.

Remove anything that doesn't contribute to solving the problem.

The problem is the starting point.
The product is the result.

FIXIFACT — We build what the problem needs.
